The batteries on the Tzora Titan 3 and Titan 4 (aka Hummer) charge directly from the scooter. The plug inserts into back of scooter and into electricity to easily charge the scooter. Some people like the flexibility of bringing the batteries inside the house to charge. Ths adapter is needed to do that.
